  • The video was shot around 01 EEST which is 22 UTC (2011-08-05), the peak was quite short. The colors are way hard to see with naked eye, but I did manage to spot a real faint patch of blue on the right hand side of the aurora curtain, corresponding to the bright blue pillar at around two or three seconds into the video.

  • Thank you for sharing this video with Austin TX USA

  • Now I noticed, EEST is our Summer time, ok. Beautiful indeed, your video!

  • What time in FInland did you shoot this? I was at 22 -23 o'clock out in south-Espoo, didn't notice anything? Beautiful, Lauri, thank you!

  • Interesting, it seems very much what I saw tonight, minus the colors ( btw, is it my eyes, or what, I didn't see the blue color at the top). I saw it between 1 and 2h Eastern Time, or 5 and 6 Universal Time if you prefer. Does that time applies to your video? (Awesome job, btw )
