I didn't believe this was a real piano when I first heard it.

Well, it's a mechanical piano. Bösendorfer Grand with player piano mechanism

to me this is by far his most accessible work. you can immediately tell what he's doing (treble voice slowing down, bass voice speeding up), and you're able to follow it. very interesting. you can hear where they're almost in unison around 1:26. the curious case of conlon nancarrow

buckethead head shawn lane trying to sound like nancarrow and thought lane was actually doing it in real time when in fact he edited the notes together. its hard to believe there was something so fast lane couldnt actually do it though. i mean he's a guitar god even to guys like bucketheand, paul gilbert ect.
