I've been interested in cloud chambers since my high school chemistry class.
This awesome guy Rich Olson (nothinglabs.com, http://www.youtube.com/user/spambutcher) built a cloud chamber with peltier coolers detailed here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Cloud-Chamber-using-Peltier-Coolers/
I was right on the verge but not quite getting it. Rich was kind enough to come over and help me troubleshoot.
As I suspected, it was a combination of surface, head sink, and chamber.
The new surface & hotter sample Rich brought provided this video.
After this video we got a new glass chamber, and steaks off of a fiestaware sample.
Next up is a heat-sink swap, and I think this is going to rock.
