@jerylmoll Macs are assembled by Foxx Con. This is the same Chinese manufacturing plant that assembles 360's PS3's & ASUS computers. Dependable? Yeah....
as for Price, they are not competitively priced. a $2300 MacBook Pro just barely matches the specs of my $1500 laptop. That's $800 more for the same (and in some cases, LESS) hardware.
OSX is 15% of the US computer market. The security it has is called OBSCURITY. At Pwn2Own, Macs were the 1st to be hacked, four years running.

@jerylmoll well made? they're made in the SAME factory as ASUS computers... they are priced competitively with a mid-priced PC, with the specs of a lower priced PC... OS X has viruses, and it is easier for someone to hack into OS X than it is for someone to hack into Windows 7

Macs are for people that want a dependable and well-made computer. As far as price, Mac are competitively priced with a mid-priced PC. The difference is that Macs run on OS X so viruses are practically nonexistent.
