I was the compositor for this short graveyard project, where I took the still plates we shot of individual graves, rotoscoped and layered them together. I found and used images for the hill, sky and clouds, layered and color-corrected them to fit together. I then layered in 3D elements made by a friend, color-corrected those to match. I built an alpha-channel-driven z-depth pass to drive the defocus and lightwrap effects. I then animated each layer to simulate the parallax of a real-life camera move.
Software Used: * Shake 4.1 (Linux/Mac) * Photoshop CS3 (PC/Mac) * Maya 8.5 (friend's 3D) * After Effects CS3 (PC, for the breakdown)

@EASTLOS68 I only used Photoshop to touch up individual images before bringing them into Apple's Shake, a Compositing program. After Effects could also have been used.
