@jung567 with that you try to bring your enemy out of balance on mental level,and if you think hes out of balance,you make the strike.
a thing that is especially in the higher ranked kendoka common, you wont see that too often at lower ranked kendoka because they often just try to strike as fast as possible and completely forget about the other aspects of kendo.
