Luca Cordero di Montezemolo shows all the qualities making LUISS unique not only in Italy, but worldwide. A school of excellence with simple but substantial «key concepts»: «LUISS is extremely focused on the best: teachers, method, quality of life, high level of innovation and research. And big competition: not only between students, but also with the other Universities. We want to create the best persons, not only for the private economy but also for the public administration. We need to improve the level». «The big effort of LUISS» is «to let our students touch with their own hands some specific case histories. Not only in Italy, not only in Europe, but in the world».
Don't lose the precious teachings of Massimo Egidi, Rector of LUISS University, who wants the students let be able not only to manage «professional skills and abilities», but mainly «to respond to the different society situations and different situations in team working», or Sebastiano Maffettone, Professor of Political Philosophy: «Now education must be global education, globalization is the economic globalization. The consequences are political, ethical, social and cultural». That's «the ideal content to give form and substance to a new generation of leaders», «able to construct the future». And yet Giorgio Di Giorgio, Dean of the Economics Faculty and Professor of Monetary Economics - «When I teach, the values I try to transmit are love and passion for learning, for solving problems, for asking interesting questions» - and Luigi Pezzilli (HR Italy - SWISS RE Group): «A leader today has a bright vision of the future. That's what we want in LUISS».
And don't forget the attestations of Alberto Petrucci, Professor of Macroeconomics - «LUISS Professors are using the socratic method of teaching trying to develop a maieutic interaction between students and teachers» - Pierpaolo Benigno, Professor of Monetary Economics, Stefano Lucchini (ENI), Elisabetta Belloni - about the LUISS ability to «create the management of our future society, thanks to teachers quality, selection students, the regular verification and evaluation of each student» - Marcello Clarich, Professor of Administrative Law, Giovanni Orsina, Professor of Political History, Gian Maria Gros Pietro (Autostrade), Raffaella Luglini (FINMECCANICA), John Hey, Professor of Macroeconomics, Tullia Troisi.
«Challenges» is our new concept for the innovation: into the future, for the next generation of management and leaders.
