am irish/english and have to say that britan have better pilots and jets and that they have the best enginers in europe sorry lads but the irish air core is still fucking class

@HASO101 actully we got turbo props which r very good nd r basically a jet engine with a propellar on the front the turbo prop was designed after the jet engine

@ZemplinTemplar We had no british models during the war we only had the fouga majesta which wasn't amazing which we got second hand from the french air display team

@HASO101 Erm, the Pilatus trainers/GAP are current day models. For a prop-plane, it certainly isn't shitty (and due to a lower max speed, it's even somewhat better for the ground attack role than a jet would be. I do agree, though, that a few smaller and cheaper jet fighters (newer versions of the Northrop F-5 ?) would be an improvement for the Air Corps. It's not like Ireland never had any jets in its air forces : During the Cold War, you had some pretty good (mostly British) models in service.
