Exclusive: New Details of Cobra "Takedown," Accused Child Molester Detained

On May 22, William Staubs, aka Cobra, a pro bono private investigator and Miami bounty hunter was arrested and charged with false imprisonment after he tried to revoke the bond of an accused child molester, Daniel Snodgrass. This is the incident in question, shot by journalist Art Harris. In it, to bring Putnam County Sheriff's deputies to the scene, he makes a false police report that he heard automatic weapons inside "being stitched up."
In replaying the tape, we heard that claim and recalled we never heard any such thing and we were standing just feet away.
No such weapons were ever produced by Snodgrass or his friend, but deputies did arrive to witness the takedown Cobra claims he was authorized to do. We have tape of an insurance agent, however, who Staubs calls earlier for permission ordering the blustery bounty hunter NOT to detain the man or make any such arrest.
