Roxio Game Capture HD Rendered Quality Test - Halo: Reach - (EPIC Quality!!!)

Welcome fellow viewers to my small project I was working on today. It all started with the admiration of Halo's landscape and designing. I just wanted to capture the essence of Halo: Reach's best landscape and designing levels. I picked Highlands, Condemned, and Breakpoint. These maps have very cool designs and architectural landscaping in them. I just couldn't admire them all in this short video, but I gave it a shot. I hope you like this small project I did for fun, and boredom, and give me a sub for more? :D

Anyhow, comment and favorite if you liked the small motion picture display! This was also a improved quality test of the Roxio Game Capture, since my last test had horrible settings, that didn't really show the true potential of the Roxio Game Capture. But, this quality on this video to me is amazing for this device and I hope you think so too.

I was also working on angles for upcoming machinima's that I may be creating or helping with. :)

What is a codec?

Codec stands for "coder-decoder", it is a method of compressing video in order to strike a balance between file size and quality. Different codecs have different data rates, aspect ratios, and methods of closed captioning in order to achieve this balance. Some examples of codecs are DV, MPEG-2, WMV, H.264, Uncompressed, DivX, XviD, and ProRes.

I used a gametype where there is no weapons and when you zoom in, it looks like camera or theater mode.

I'm not trying to lie to the audience when I say "HD". I'm sorry if some people see it that way, however when I say "HD", I mean the video is rendered in HD.

@MultiKillGamingHD The thing is, Roxio's are only SD right? So the max you can get from them is 480p. Obviously you had to render this as HD, so isn't this lying to the audience? I'm not having a go, Im just interested in how to get the best quality for the lowest price

Yeah I know, the previous test was a quick test of about 1 month in testing, however this test was when I was more familiar with the settings and tested the Roxio Game Cap for about 7 months.

Wow, compared to the previous test this looks really good! And the sound quality has also improved dramatically. I'm thinking of buying this capture card to begin with as it's quite cheap.
