  • I'm sorry. I didn't realize there was a language barrier. In short, a man is so deeply in love and is afraid that time will dull the passion he feels. "And tell me how year after year you're sure you're heart will fall apart each time you hear her name" "The more I love the more I'm afraid that in your eyes I may not see forever, forever" Upon reflection he concludes that though they are the best of lovers, they should also be best friends. "With any luck then I suppose, the music never ends"

    thank you for these clarifications.

  • You are a really good pianist but I wonder if you understand the meaning of this song. It's not upbeat and lyrical but pensive and reflective.

It's about gut-wrenching self doubt, but you played it like you're skipping down the beach giggling and twirling a parasol!!

Read the lyrics and reflect on your musical choices.

Thank you for your constructive comment.. There is no lyrics in French for this song. Sincerely I do not understand the deeper meaning of this song, but when I heard the great Tony Bennett sing it, I realized that I could never play this song with such emotion. So I decided to interpret it in a lighter way. It's a personnal choice due to the respect I have for Michel Legrand, Tony Bennett and for this beautiful song...Best regards:-)

  • Bravo!! Fantastic playing, great chord structuring, a great pianist. Nice touch, sounds like the notes are being plucked from the keys, just the way it should be done. Awesome job, i fully enjoyed your playing.
