@thphaca Im only afraid it will bottleneck a HD6870 in crossfire :(

@GamerSpaceHD I've been using it since shortly after I posted that comment. It's a good CPU. I cranked mine to about 3.7ghz on stock cooling. I use a 9800gt v-card so usually max out but I'd have to lower the res on new games. Crysis 2 isn't as easy on the system as some people think. I can max it out smoothly at 720p but not at 1080p. Similarly with GTA4. These are obviously GPU bottlenecks though. Since I've gotten the 955 I've been throwing everything I can at it. It's great for the price.

@thphaca Im also getting this cpu ;), because I dont have a big budget.

Wow this vid's been up for over 2 years and I'm just now catching up to those specs. I've got my 8gb DDR2 (yeah I know it's not DDR3) and I'm getting a Phenom 955 soon. I guess I might as well get ready for an intel system soon. I've had good times with AMD but if they don't catch up in the stats I may have to switch sides. I'm pretty confident in the Bulldozer but we'll have to wait and see. Intel performance at a fraction of the price is what I want to see.

@gazzxr Thx :)

What are your temps with the CPU clocked that high? Also, I have a GTX 460 768mb, would that be better or similar to the 4890. I love the way this looks, it looks gorgeous!

@jstark069 Best sarcasm ever

is AA enabled?
no a better PSU won't give you higher fps .... the PSU is UNDERATED when it comes to building a pc. i've had 2 crappy PSUs die in 6 months. i everntually learned my mistake and bought a decent corsair. just think, all your expensive hardware is relying on getting the correct power from those things. so get a good reliable PSU!!

Veyr good point. I always tell people to get cheaper ram before a cheap power supply. Especially if you don't plan to overclock. Nothing will work right if it doesn't have stable power
