    We took 100 steps forward in the 60's and then 50 steps back over the following years. Now we're making those steps up so we can take more, and better yet, it's the private industry taking those steps, so there won't be much in the way to make them step back, unlike NASA having to step back due to politics no longer demanding their services after we won the cold war.

    Uh, I can't speak for others posting but I was kidding. I just want the rocket-ships to fly. She can wear her hair anyway she wants if she makes that happen.

    They need to look good on TV ?

    I think this is globally, a very wrong attitude.

    She needs to have competence not to have 20 year perfect body, like politicians should

    not invest Time in Looking & Talking good, they should more invest Time in learning economic, moral.. science based stuff, cause to govern a country there is no plausibly smile in front of cams needed, there are more important things to learn when represent & work for the good & in the name of a whole nation.

    to be fair, NASA has a very strict dress code; probably appropriate, being a Government Agency; so they can't be as casual as the commercial companies; but that being said, I am sure that they could have had a warmer smile and enthusiasm toward the subject matter; they were close to robots;
