Chuck is my favorite show on tv so i understand why all you guys keep commenting here but this is and always has been a great song with or with out it being on chuck and half you guys wouldnt even be here if it wasnt for that reason which saddens me that bands like iggy and the stooges or the replacements get ignored until one of their songs ends up on a movie or tv show soundtrack and then all of a sudden its everyones favorite song

Chuck is great. And it IS the reason I ended up here. People commenting on here that it's "sad that the only reason people are here is because of a TV show" are being a little silly. There are so many songs and bands and artists in the world you can't possibly have time to look in to a discover each & every one of them. The only reason you like Iggy Pop in the first place is because at some point you were exposed to it... a fluke. I'm sure there are fantastic bands I like you've never heard of!

@cryxamus @mclmsf5 Honestly, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Chuck either. But I guess the thing that gets to mclmsf5 is that people, after hearing this song on Chuck, are suddenly claiming to be Iggy Pop fans and that really pisses me off too. Just because you like one song doesn't mean they're your new favourite band.

@mclmsf5 You can look at it that way dude, or you can look at it this way: Iggy wasn't widely successful in terms of a mainstream sense. A lot of people never heard or were exposed to songs like this and that is a shame because I agree, it's a good song. Chuck's main target is a younger crowd, perhaps younger than would be familiar with Iggy. The fact that a show like Chuck exposes them to a song such as this, and they enjoy it, can only be good for Iggy and attracting/making new fans.
