Bruce Springsteen appears in the long awaited documentary film THE PEOPLE SPEAK, which aired on the History Channel in December. The film was inspired by Howard Zinn's books A People's History of the United States and, with Anthony Arnove, Voices of a People's History. Tune in!

What will happen to music when Bruce goes. Thats a day I fear. The best song writer ever & the best story teller ever. A legend. This song is second only to Devils & Dust, its story means alot to alot of people around the world struggling to get by, to keep their house, to feed their kids. Time really does go full circle. Keep up the good work Brucey & I hope your lyrics help people keep their chin up as they did me.

remarkable.....less than 19,000 views for the heir to Woody & Pete. This album and, Nebraska, two of his most (but far from only) socially conscious albums......bot of which speak to issues folks would - clearly - rather just noy hear.

For me the Ghost Of Tom Joad album is one of the best of Springsteen's.
It's full of purpose, more about the lyrics. I just love the sound of his voice in solo, the way he gives life to the music. I can really relate to some of the songs in this album.
