Sponsor: http://NHLiberty.org - The costume quality may be a little uneven, but here in Jaffrey, New Hampshire it's citizen participation that makes the old Revolution come alive. This battle and cannon display is a new addition to the rural town's third annual "Live Free or Die" festival.

Music by Dada Orwell and George Taylor

  • Dan Itse ! lmao he rocks

  • Wow! I'm amazed no one got hurt from the artillery during the skirmish. I've operated artillery for nearly a decade in the hobby and you all were very lucky. Love the cause, nonetheless...And by the way - the best part of the hobby? The evening festivities under the stars (or rain fly as it were...) Enjoyed the video.

  • it is. contact captain morrill's company and they can help you.

  • we were acually hired to shoot cannons at dusk. but we thought it would be fun if the public got involved . so we gave them toy muskets and had a mock battle.

  • it was done in sawyers field in jaffery n.h.

  • go to captain morrill's company and the website will tell you how to join in.

  • You know, I always suspected t-shirts and flip-flops were invented in the USA.

  • Too bad I only once saw a left-handed flint-lock. I'd love to join in...

  • None. In the full video one of the 'actors' indicates it is a random skirmish between two different factions of the militia.

  • looks like fun
