  • This film was one of the many Betty Boop animation films released on the amateur nine-point five film gauge. These films were reduce printed from the original Paramount masters in black and white for which the animation was finer than the later released colorized versions. The sound quality was very good too as it was reduce printed from the original 35mm negative and not re-recorded..

  • Fascinating!

  • Wow.......Just wow.

  • I looked back on this and lauuuuughed

  • This must be one of the stranger Betty Boop cartoons.

  • Seriously suggestive just after 2:10!! I'm surprised they banned Snow White but not this one. Perhaps it was OK to laugh at sex but not death?

  • The ending is an unusual comment on the high cost of war (and how sometimes, it is even worth it).

"Slightly damaged toys" - looks like it.
