I saw Dan a number of times from 1992 1994 at Gangas Cohen in L.A. CA. To this day he is still my favorite "live" singer. My favorite song is "Jew from Kty." It's a riot!
Wish he stilled played it!!! It is one of his retired songs!

This reminds me of Dan Bern shows I saw on the East coast, which totalled about 25. NJ, NY, PA, MA & DE. Lot of fun. First show taught me that you could own what he put on CDs and still not know what to expect when you see him. I grew to appreciate that, as well as seeing the same people at the shows.

You can tell he grew up listening to Dylan, Arlo, and Bruce Springsteen (the good stuff). Love this guy.

Beautiful! Is there a more prolific song writer out there right now? And Dan doesn't just create many new songs, he creates many new absolutley fabulous songs.
