You mean a study, not studies. The Schulze study relied upon older EEG measurement techniques, and more recent studies have shown that this practice elicits considerable amounts of pain in the animals, and that they suffer for extensive periods (up to 5 minutes) before finally dying. Even Wilhelm Schulze has said that this comparison of western slaughtering methods is likely inaccurate. Worse yet, you're citing a single bit of research that's 34 years old.

Of course there is such a thing as humane killing. We do this thousands of times daily to animals at veterinary clinics, to prevent their suffering.

Synthetic beef hasn't even come about yet, but never put it past someone ignorant like you to criticize it before it's even been around for public consumption.

It being popular amongst a group of archaic, idiotic religions driven by ignorance and barbarism does not preclude it from being an idiotic, barbaric practice. I'm glad nations are starting to wise up to ban this practice. There are far more effective, humane ways of killing animals, and eventually we won't even need to kill them at all (synthetic beef).
