John Lee

John Lee, 47, of Lapeer, MI, fell victim to a fast-moving, vicious septic infection that claimed all four of his limbs and left him near death. The fact that John is not only alive, but full of determination, is a testiment to his extraordinary courage in the face of illness that doctors say could have-should have, by most accounts-killed him.He undergoes therapy on 9/26/07.

Wow, I'm 40 with hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy and I wear an ankle foot orthotic on my left leg and have trouble controlling muscle movement on my left arm and hand. Pain is a daily reminder that things could be worse. John is a man of determination and strength. His wife is awesome. Having CP and being an amputee is like comparing apples to oranges but this moved me.
