  • clint unloads eli's gun, eli does not know this, eli is no longer a threat to clint, lee does not know that eli's gun is unloaded, lee considers both clint and eli as threats, eli considers both clint and lee as threats, clint has the advantage and considers only lee as a threat, ergo clint shoots lee.

  • Good question - the answer plays out in the eyes sequence. However, this was not a duel; rather, a truel. The question that beckons an answer is what are the chances of winning? Ergo, there are permutations of 2 vs. 1, but who will draw first? What's not known from just this clip is that Dirty Harry already spared the guy at his 11 o'clock by shooting his noose off, earlier. FYI: the two Mexicans are not amigos. In short, the 11 o'clock and Dirty Harry both shoot the same guy.

  • There is more to this scene. Clint gives a small nod of his head towards Tuco. Faking the impression of cooperation. Lee observes this nod and when Lee turns to check Tucos reaction to Clints nod Clint shoots lee.

  • My version of Game Theory:

"In theory, this clip's music would make a great boss fight track."

  • CLint has an informational advantage over eli and lee. normally the nash equilibrium in this game is for each player to fire at each of the other two players with probability 0.5. But with clint's informational advantage - and knowledge of the belief profiles of eli and lee - clint should always fire at lee. since both eli and lee will fire at clint with probability 0.5 (eli with no bullets), clint has only a 50% chance of being shot at with a real bulklet (instead of a 75%). Go Clint!

  • H-O-V-A, i got my mojo back baby, o behave
