Well bandwidth is good, but a better is a good network design with no conflicts, useless broadcasts, packet drops, collisions, protocol failures. A good network design is the challenge, and while this exists there is no much need for tremendous bandwidth. A bad design can even swamp the best bandwidth line :-)
