I second what 'essemgy' said: ignore the blatantly rude comments, they don't belong on you tube. As for technique, rhythm and the metronome route isn't a bad idea. More than anything just keep practicing.

your missing a couple of notes, but keep working on it. im trying to learn the song on guitar myself and its hard as hell trying to play everything that is written. AWESOME SONG!!!!!!

i have a habit of playing things fast too. But this is an amazing song learn the rhythm and feel and it'll be greater then this.

Ignore the blatantly rude comments; they don't help at all. You need to work on your rhythm the most at this point. I recommend getting yourself a nice cheap metronome (can be had for 10 bucks at guitar center) and/or listen to the song as you play. Keep at it, man! Don't listen to the rude people who just try to bring you down. You'll get it!
