Barbara Mandrell's voice had deteriorated to a hoarse whisper in later episodes of the variety show. She was also suffering from exhaustion as well. She decided to walk away from the show to save her voice.

I was disappointed that the 90's' remake of Land of the Lost wasn't mentioned. I enjoyed it, and I was in high school at the time.

I wonder what happened to all of those projects they had lined up? A Bugaloos movie, Family Affair movie, I wish this interview had an update on their work.

D.C. Follies was a favorite of mine in Jr. High School, and even made me interested to know more about Nixon and Ford etc. Too bad this show hasn't come to DVD!

Great Interview! It reminds me of the early 80's kids shows I used to watch and how they came about!
