I worked very hard putting this video together.
I'm sorry I do not own a clear camera, this is a Kodak Easy Share.
I tried to make this tutorial as clear as possible.
This was my first time messing with an HTC Hero.

This is the HTC HERO G3 CDMA.

  • where did you get the Touch Digitizer from ? did you apply blue or the tape in the video holds the screen on ?

  • @KantFadeMe555

    It comes on the screen.

  • I would peel off the protective skin AFTER i had finished.

  • @ohkaythen93

Your absolutely right, I'm not sure why I took that off. Luckily for me, I didn't touch it since that was the back of it.

  • Great video BTW. Very helpful

  • A T-5 does work, but if you have one, I found a T-6 is a better fit for my phone.

  • Great video, extremely easy to understand. I'm having a lot of trouble finding a digitizer that comes WITH adhesive...do you know where I can buy either a digitizer with adhesive, or a roll or adhesive that has the right dimensions (thickness/width) that I can cut to length? Thanks!

  • thanks you I was able to fix it on my own!

  • Great video, good job!

  • EXCELLENT! Kudos to the creator of this video and all the effort you put into it. I nearly paid a website to see how to finish the final removal of the digitizer (which they didn't show until you paid). Then I found your video! Thank You!! The only difference is my replacement digitizer didn't have adhesive tape on the backside so i got Instant Krazy Glue (w/precision tip) and it seems to work fine (knock on wood.) Thanks Again!

  • thx. exactly what i needed. keep it up.

  • very informative. thank you very much.
