@stelph82 Hi, I'm looking to do this for an 8, can you tell me where you bought the suction pads and camera tripod from (is it adjustable?)? Also, is the seal provided by the glue adequate? On a side note, have you noticed its benefits in training? Thanks
@adamthelad Hi, i got the suction pads from ebay, just search for "suction camera" and theyll come up. As to the glue, thats probably a bad descriptiin, i actually used some putty to bind the suction pads inside the tripod legs.
For training its quite good, although mostly for checking the catch angles. Im actually working on something new with the camera so ill post when i get it working
Not sure if I can upload photos but I can describe what I made, essentially I bought a budget camera tripod and 3 suction camera
Mounts from eBay (they cost about £3), then I glued the suction mounts, one to each leg and that was the mount.
It secures best to flat canvases but it is very secure as you can see (even stays in place during a racing start in an 8!). Hope this helps
