My dad and his friend John have this tradition. They sail from CSA, a sailing club at one end of Carlyle Lake to a little town called Keyesport at the other. There they go to a bar for wings and quesadilla and then sail back. The invited me for the journey today. The wind grew to gusts of 20mph, the most this crew had experienced in this 27ft E-Scow racing boat. The waves sprayed 10 ft high off of our bow soaking the three of us. What a ride! It took us 2 hours to get there and 90 minutes to get back.
Cool. Someday some person WILL invent a bailer that always works.
