  • Hi Guys, the Pro features a higher sampling rate and a premium driver. The EIE is class compliant.

  • Price/??!

  • but the bit rate its to bad 16 bits? crap! the other things are nice how much it will cost?

  • I wish they had an 8 channel XLR version... that would be the most amazing device EVER!

  • can i hook my mpc 5000 up to this???

  • I'm assuming the one I'm seeing with street prices of 200us is the 16 bit? What will the pro run?

  • how is the preamp, converter quality on this baby?

  • I'm on a EMU 1820m which isn't supported anymore by EMU, no proper Win7 drivers and they'll probably never happen either.

The Pro seems like a quality alternative, but I can't find any data related to the A/D and D/A converters, noise levels/THD etc.

Would highly appreciate it if you guys (Akai Pro) could release some PDF or info on your site, thanks.

  • OMG this is amazing. Just what I need.

  • @AkaiProVideo do I need to install a driver before running it? is there a cd within the box?
