if you can't do it on MIDI, then just record the MIDI and save it, then reopen it as an audio file.

naaah homie.. u jus dont kno what ur doin if ur mix is comin out paper thin... trust me.. i kno exactly what u mean..but i only had that problem when i first got logic..i didnt kno which plug ins to use.. trust me..i got a mpc 3000 sound comin out of my logic 9.. and yes it is possible.. trust me..i was hardware for years before i went software...
