Senator McCain on Russian Military Aggression agains Georgia

Russia that had a shory encounter with democracy after collapse of the USSR started to switch it's course towards racism, fascism and started to control it's media and killing journalist inside and outside of Russia.
You see the kiling is better beacuase if you put someone to prison for his ideas it sounds uncivilized.
Nobody trusts Russian media today except some naive Russians and nobody trusts Russia as a democracy because it's simply not a one.
But the World respects Russia not because it's a civilized country, but because it's big and has oil.
Fot that reason some countries back up in critisising it's dragonian policies like Chechen's Genocide.
Now Russia takes on young Democratic Country Georgia bombing it's civilians just because they had fair democratic election and they want to join European world. They are also good friends with Americans which Russians consider enemy number one.

I agree russia has done some good things also. But these good things are spoiled away by that wast damage, agression and lies, russia has done and still doing to the ROW.

And AGAIN- s.Osetians are the only nation who can choose to be with RU, GEO or independent. Russia is having a double standards- why she's supporting s.Osetian independance, whereas was against Kosovo's or Balti'cs independance? And Ukraine is next to come under russian hammer. Just because RU does not like some UA decissions.

you are a are victim of russian propoganda and lies over the last 60 years. Regarding Georgia, there are no russians in s.Osetia, but there is oil pipeline feeding Europe instead. There is no one to protect. Russia has been always as a bunch of cockroaches, invading places they are not welcome and spoiling peoples lives.

Georgia is very western oriented, fast groving and promissing country, trying as best as she can to get rid of that nightmare of soviet occupation of last 50 years.
