What are we Singaporeans to do without the help of these foreign 'workels'? Take pity on them as they have to work 'overtime' for us on weekends.. LOL

  • ALL TERRY DID WAS TO SAY "yes"!

  • The internet is one thing that the Lee dynasty never thought of.

It is not that truths have not been revealed to the people, it is as if they are afraid of it; they wear this kind of facade, and will relentlessly and futilely defend against it.

  • @ka7hy LOL I love the useless American argument that singaporeans try to use though they know not where I am from. You fail to realize that internationally most civilized first world nations have outlawed barbarity and prohibit TORTURING and BRUTALIZING human beings. Places like Singapore and any other third world savages need to have people "stick their fucking noses into others business" when it involves crimes against humanity. The answer: STOP CRUELTY AND STOP VIOLENCE

  • @ka7hy How would you explain high crime rates in places that still torture criminals (like Malaysia) and how would you explain low crime rates in places that do not? You just don't get it--It doesn't matter whether or not there are even statistics proving that torture works--inhuman violence toward human beings is Barbaric and disgusting cruelty toward man-kind and constitutes international CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

Waterboarding works too--but it is uncivilized savage BARBARITY!

  • @ka7hy oops, I made a couple typos!

  • @somuchsolittleful Besides, this European-based very need to lead people to the "right path" has been one of the main reasons (besides greed obviously) entire populations have had their rights taken away just because for the European folks their ways were "too barbaric" to govern themselves. Stupid idiots that stick their fucking noses into others' business.

  • @somuchsolittleful By the way, I understand that as a typical American you are entitled and feel the need to "guide others" by telling them what the right way to do things are (aka. the American way,) but people have their own ways to solve THEIR problems. And you know what, it DOES WORK.

  • @soeful Maybe it DOES NEED to be that way, and that's the very reason the crime rate is so low in Singapore. Why? Potential criminals are so afraid of the punishment they may receive if they commit a crime, they just refrain from doing so (there are things that shouldn't be considered a crime tough.) On the other hand, countries that treat criminals "as human beings" have a justice system that does nothing but encourage reoffense, where people get in and out jails and NEVER learn their lesson.

  • @metamorphorsis I believe in being tough on crimes, but treating prisoners as human beings not sub-humans and they should be treated in a non-violent manner never with physical assaults. I am against mandatory executions. I do see the logic and good in some policies of singapore's government--and I do not believe everything they do is barbaric. However the judicial and penal system is unjust, discriminatory and is based on violence, and barbaric-and doesn't need to be this way.

  • @metamorphorsis My point is most places in the world today including most Asian places like Seoul, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tokyo etc do NOT have court ordered violent brutality--they moved passed this barbarity--Singapore has not. In regard to democratic vs dictatorship-I don't want to live under tyranny, or a benevolent dictatorship like Singapore. US is sickenenly far from perfect ( they do have death sentences in some parts) but no legalized beatings. Non-violence is the answer.
