Father's dance tribute to his daughter to Celine Dion's "Fly"

I lost my daughter, Jennifer, in March 2007. She was walking down a sidewalk and was hit by a drunk and drug high driver. A month later I danced this tribute to her with my dance teacher in a local dance show. Dancing was part of my therapy.

As someone who has had an extraordinary amount of loss in my life in recent years, my sympathies are that much more heartfelt. I am so very sorry for your most precious loss. Your tribute was a thing of extraordinary beauty, it touched me to the core. You and your dance teacher made something together that is so very special. Thank you so much for posting this. So beautiful and true. Writing a free verse poem capturing memories of happiness together has given me joy and comfort in my own grief, it will help until you meet again.
