Ron, you are way off base on the "silence" of the Bible on homosexuality. Are you being disingenuous in saying this? Clearly, I believe you well know the Bible (regardless of whether you believe it or not) is pretty clear on men having sex with men.

Actually, forget the Bible, the bottom line is homosexuality goes against the natural order. A man sticking his penis into the anal sphincter (waste cavity) of another man is just not natural PERIOD.

Yes, I know the Bible. Its writers did NOT enlighten us about homosexuality. Sure, some of them make sweeping condemning remarks about some activities, but nothing that really informs anyone about homosexuality.

The "natural" argument about a anal sex is bogus. Many women enjoy anal sex (they aren't gay), and many other animals enjoy it too. Besides, we humans enjoy a lot of things/activities that are unnatural -- airplanes and air conditioning are not in the Bible, of course.

Its not like it matters i find it really hard to see the bible as an infallible, inerrant document. The bible was written after the death of jesus, and with 'enlightenment from the lord' i can write something and say i got enlightened, holy shizzle i can be a scribe! :/ seriously many things were circulating through stories, or speech which has been shown to lose its value and be manipulated the more people it goes through. It even contradicts itself. I doubt its unerring.

Why do gay people constatly sit around dwelling on people that don't agree with that lifestyle or a God that doesnt? From my expierence when Im struggling with a issue, and im not sure its right, but im more convinced its right, i tend to dwell on those that think its wrong, so in a nutshell, i think those who say their gay and dwell on those who disagree with it, are themselves not even convinced if they are truly doing the right thing by practicing it. just my cents. btw Im a straight man.

It was Paul who who put the anti Gay spin on Christianity, Jesus did not say a word on it and very likely was called to serve God just like every other man who had no interest in women and joined the church through out the ages as an alternative..

You did not have any problem with the bible when you were at Lee Christian College, so stop justifying you wanting to have sex with another man! Homosexuality is a real problem in the Church because humans exist in the Church. I can sit here and carry on all day. But Ron, all I have to say, is follow what your heart tells you. God nor the Devil according to passages in the bible can control your heart or what you feel in it. The Devil can only put temptation there to lead you to him. He cannot tell you want to feel, what to like, what to dislike, what to believe, because that would be messing with the free will we were given and cannot be tampered with correct? Make an educated desision on this. Use the brain you got.

People need to educate themselves, and use cognitive thinking, and logic. You can ask for a miracle to heal someones illness, and they might or might not get better due to Gods will. But you can pray for a miraclet till the cows come home to regenerate an amputees apendages and im sorry, its not going to happen. We, as a human race have made our own miricles to deal with this, prostetics and other things to act as a limb. Medicines to cure illness and desease. a Miracle is a coincidence.
