This is a video of a diorama of The classic British movie Island of Terror starring Peter Cushing and Edward Judd. I was contacted by a customer that wanted this diorama because he loved "B" movies - so do I!! I have done a similar one for Day of the Triffids for him, so this one just falls into place. If you have some ideas in mind, just email me at propdept@yahoo.com. I can make the diorama bigger, smaller, and even with sound effects. Enjoy the Video!!!

I loved Island of Terror. I used to watch this in the early 70's on Saturdays. Great flick.

ralphus13 on Ebay is selling 5 individual sets of 3 small Silicate monsters.
Buy It Now $14.95 including Shipping These creatures measure 2 1/2"x2" for the splitting creatures ( 1 per set) and 2"x2" for the two with trunks ( 2 different Silicates per set). They are pre-painted and will stick to any metal surface (except aluminium). The "bodies" are solid resin and the "trunks" are a flexible resin material. Some assembly required, you will need to glue.

Good work! I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates classic horror, IE splash a bucket of blood rather than use real talent. I haven't seen this in years and cast a resin silicate (from memory) for my monster collection. This is great work. Have you made any other "second" string monsters? I made a "It conquered the Earth (or was it world?) " alien as well.

AWSOME!!! I love that movie. They just don't make them like that anymore (cliched, I know, but true). *SPOILER* How would you go about incorporating a few boneless corpses into it (in particular, the boneless horse. Really impacted me as a kid). I think it would really add to the model. Incidentally, those silicates are incredible and I love the tree. Nice touch.
