Global Youth Service Day 2009 - youngsters participate actively in social service project.
On 29 April 2009 10.00 Philanthropic Association IRFF ONLUS, Center region Pretura of Chisinau City Hall and partners, join the initiative GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY 2009 following the motto living for the greater good organize an sanitation and ecological service project at Rose Valley Park near the building Romanita, with 80 participants.
There were collected two trailers of trash that have been gained from the leisure resting in park of the inhabitants of Chisinau, also where cleaned the spring which flows through the park which banks were filled with waste.
After the project young people have felt very good because they could do something good for society, which was a good initiative for neighborhood residents too. The project end with a picnic in this clean and arranged area.
We liked to spent leisure and resting time at the nature area around when it is clean, so the young participants urge everyone to keep nature clean.
The organizers come with the proposal that each educational institution should join this initiative and adopt a park" around to organize environmental projects regularly once a month there, thus keeping the parks clean and students in the spirit of care for their community.
