The Salutation Upon The Leader 'Alī ibn Mūsā al-Riḍā

In The Name Of The Most Merciful

We Have Been Created For A Purpose. That Purpose Is To Achieve Perfection. Every Human Being Yearns For Perfection As This Is Part Of Our Innate Nature. The Only Absolute Perfection Is The Almighty, Which Means That To Fulfill The Purpose Of Our Existence We Must Gain Nearness To Him (The Closer A Servant Is To His/Her Creator, The Higher His/Her Level Of Perfection).

The Formula To Do This Has Been Given To Us By The Most Merciful, Through His Final Messenger Muhammad [s], When He Said:

"I am leaving for you two precious and weighty things, that if you adhere to both of them you shall not go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah [The Blessed Qur'an], and my progeny, Ahlul-Bayt [The guides chosen by Allah after Prophet Muhammad]. The Merciful [Allah] has informed me that these two shall not separate from each other till they come to me by the Fountain (of Paradise)"

Indeed, He Has Created Everything As A Means For Us To Gain Nearness To Him. Connecting With The Divine Guides Is A Way To Direct Ourselves To The Almighty Himself, And Thus Gain Nearness To Him. This Connection Transcends The Material Realm And Thus Is Not Limited By Space And Time. It Is Made In The Heart (Not The Physical Heart That Pumps Blood, But The Core Of Our Existence) By Anyone Sincerely Seeking The Truth. For Anyone Who Seeks With Sincerity, Will Certainly Find. And Anyone Who Comes To The Door Of The Most Merciful, By Falling At The Doorstep Of This Blessed Leader, Shall Never Leave His/Her Place Empty-Handed. "And Your Lord Says: Call Upon Me, I Will Answer You
