How to attract hummingbirds

A tour of Mr. Jim's Hummingbird Garden. With a cast of hundreds of Ruby-throats and starring at least four Rufous, possibly six. Mr. Jim gives a look at his man-made hummingbird habitat. Hundreds of butterflies are a side benefit but not shown as this is all about hummingbirds. Mr. Jim believes a picture is worth a thousand words. Hummingbird plants shown are as follows:

Also featured is 5 out of 14 clean and well-maintained feeders filled with a 1 to 4 ratio of sugar water. without red dye. (1 part sugar - 4 parts water) There is always a surplus of feeders relative to the number of birds. Not all feeders are shown.
As far as flowers goes, what works well in one location and time does not necessarily work well in another location and time. This happens to be in south Georgia, zone 8; of the 2011 season.
The feeders work anywhere and anytime as long as they are clean, well-maintained and unfrozen if in winter.
If you are serious about seeing hummingbirds, this garden is the way to go!
