400k views and going! thanks guys. This was made a long long time ago so i didnt put much thought into it at the time. Maybe if i get the time ill do a remake with a proper comparison. 787 vs maybe? or 747-800 vs. you choose.
Majority of this clip is dedicated to the new A380 , then you show out dated photos of older models of the 747. Not a very level playing field is it? How about comparing the A380 to the new 747-800?
@aspiringdrummer17 Bullshit French Pilots Union filed a protest and said the A330 is a dangerous plane to fly and if U read the latest version it was the Pitot Tubes that ice up + the computer took over + crashed the plane. There were three pilots on that plane one senior captain, copilot + one in training. Airbus covered up lies and wait till the trial. Airbus defective Pitot Tubes has crashed many Airbus planes and they do not have mecahnical backup WSI Wind Speed Indicators like Boeing! UY!
@LottoWinner999 Neither Airbus or RR knew about the problems with the 900 until it happened. No wing cracks were found on Air France Flight 447, nice try though. It was ultimately due to pilot error perpertrated by inexperienced pilots. Iced over pitot tubes aren't enough to cause a crash
@aspiringdrummer17 The wings are UK-designed and -manufactured in Britain period. Airbus in ten years has only 68 A380s in service! Airbus said cracks on another part of the wing were discovered two years ago. Airbus knew the RR Trent engine engine were defective when then they sold the A380s to Quantas. Airbus is a shady company cutting corners in the worst place and metal explains the A330 Air France Flight cuz they found cracks in A330 wings and defective Pitot Tubes + they said it was safe?
@aspiringdrummer17 U sound Mr. De Haviland who said the Comet was a safe airpalne and three of them had Decompressive Explosion from Micro-Fractures at 28,000 feet. Some of these Micro-Fractures AKA Hairline are a meter long. This is on brand new airplane and your not a metallurgist and someone cut corners to save money and Airbus is know for usinng the cheapest stock. What happens when the 1ST ones goes down and Airbus secretly replace wings on 2 defective A380s. Tell me why they did that?
@LottoWinner999 The wings are made in Broughton and that isn't in England. The problem with the cracks has already been rectified as a very minor problem that causes no safety issues. Airlines keep ordering the A380 which is more than can be said for the 747-8I. I guess airlines just aren't happy with Boeing passing off 40 year old designs as new ones
@LottoWinner999 And you are saying that Boeing is more safe? How many 747's has crashed? And read the TWA 800 story. Then you know what is a design fault.
@blablubb12345 Micro-Cracks are a warning sign screaming at you to ground the A380. Did you watch the video. BTW Boeing aircraft do not have Micro-Cracks on them! You don't realize how Micro-Cracks can suddenly fail and 3 Comets crashed because De Havilland would not admit his plane was flawed. Australian Flight Engineers want the A380 grounded! My God, Airbus is risking peoples life's instead of making sure the plane is safe. Public pressure will demand A380 to be grounded + U know I am right!
@blablubb12345 The A380 wings are made in Jolly Old England + cracks in Aluminum manufactured by Brits proves how lazy Brits are when it comes to quality. The Comet crashed because of Micro-Cracks with advance lightweight Aluminum skin and what makes U think the A380 will not crash from Micro-Cracks?. This proves Brits are still cuttings and skimming money for themselves. Wake up and smell the Roses the A380 is going to crash one or another and if Airbus is lucky it will be a financial Crash.

A380 is a new kid on the block, so its a fad for now that every one is curious about and after.
747 on the other hand is proven worldwide for half a century w/ the best safety record in aviation history; that's all I have to say for now.
