Fisk ruins everything he touches, I'm surprised that some one who knows him doesn't correct him...and tell him "Dude, learn how to use your right hand for gods sake, it sounds like you apply sand paper to the bottom of your fingernails."

I like it fresh innovative surprising.
Scarlatti was influenced a lot by Spanish folk music.

Yes, but that does not mean that ALL his sonatas are Spanish. Like this one, this is Italian in style! Just like Vivaldi's lute concerti.
So, it is right to say this Fisk is kinda insane with his music.

Maybe you dont know this...but scarlatti actually did all his musical carrer and created all of his 555 sonatas in ...SPAIN? actually there are multiple musicological studies which relate his music with traditional spanish music. I think he would be delighted...maybe he even had castañets in mind when he composed this..

i cant stand most of fisk's playing but for some reason his baroque interpretations are incredible

of course its horrible. it's Fisk for Christ's sake. he has amazing left hand technique but his tone is sloppy and twangy.
