This is the ending of a mix known as 'The Kid Mix' which is based around the classic 'Play That Beat' by MC GLOBE and DJ Whizkid. This ending was played on Mike Allen's Hip Hop show a few times in the 80's in London, UK and became known as the Whiz Kid mix. Mike Allen failed to mention it was part of a larger mix and also called it the Whiz kid mix on his show. For years collectors would seek out this mix but would never find it because it wasn't a Paul Hardcastle 19 remix. In the UK it would become a holy grail for many vinyl collectors. I have a copy of this vinyl and it is one of my prized possessions along side my Planet Rock Tommy Boy gold disc!
Just to confirm, the longer mix is known as the 'Kid Mix' and is over 10 mins long featuring a few other electro, pop and freestyle tracks. There's a few other mixes too but I haven't even listened to them to be honest. Released by Swing Records from Holland.
