  • I love 60s music and it's great to know how the musicians of the day made that special sound. Thanks for sharing.

  • @mrpentium With digital effects you can approximate the sound characteristics but you cannot simulate the doppler effect and the varying air pressure. Also the rotating horn throws the sound all around the room. It sounds like the sound is emanating from all around you rather than from a point source. You have to experience it in person to appreciate why there is no substitute for the real thing.

  • @mrpentium digital modeling does not compare

  • Why isnt the effect done digitally these days ? Is the analog sound considered purer ?

  • Is that a Rhodes behind you?

  • please lose the captions. I cant see what youre doing at all. TYVM!

  • Clapton played the guitar on while my guitar gently weeps.

  • No, it's def a 145, & any 145/147 Leslie can give off a buzz as they use the same amp.

  • No it's a 147 because the 145 is shorter and usually the 147 Leslie gives off that buzz

  • Thanks for responding, I was trying to help those younger minds who haven't a clue to how a leslie works. In the age of advanced electronics there are very few who understand the doppler effect of the leslie. Imagine a 10 year old trying to figure out how the speaker was spinning to create the leslie sound. I'm an artist and inventor,... try to remember this. I hope to create what I call a mega Leslie. It's designed for the big stage. I need contacts to advance the idea. Are you interested?
