The honourable JI Packer makes me think of Jamer Fraser and Isobel Kuhn. These people are examples for all of us: truth, honesty, love, courage, the keywords that they live out. We need them as much as our daily food and water.

Great, solid reasoning. He explains why this issue is not adiaphorous ... and why the answer must necessarily be the traditional Christian one.

you dont need a phd to understand the clear things of the bible like this so give the ones who truly seek a break, 1 Corinthians 5:11 (New International Version)

11But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.

So much for free speach eh? I think I've had enough of you freaks telling us how we should accept a decrepid lifestyle such as homosexuality. Enough of your false stats and pop psychology bullsh%t.

anliganism is a sinking ship as far as im concerned. J.I Packer and the like should jump out! God Bless J.I Packer.

I don't think that succesful apologetics work by just quoting scripture, we must return to the way of the Church Fathers, and use secular philosophy to prove Christian points.

God bless a man for following the truth and the word of God!
The Bible and the Anglican Church should never be subject to prevailing political correctness.
On the basis of the scriptures, I reject the ordination of gay clergy and "gay marriage". It has nothing to do with my personal feelings about homosexuality.
It is not my place to judge. It is not my place to alienate my fellow man, or woman. It is not my belief that the penitent soul is ever condemned.
I have sinned. We all have. But God is merciful.

He's not doing apologetics here. The audience is supposed to be the Anglican church. We use Scriptural reasoning to decide issues in the church.
