Adapting turntable techniques on Handsonic (Roland HPD-15) using one of the many ways of playing invented and developped by Smith named "pinky technique". The finger on the ribbon acts like a cross fader to cut the sound while the other fingers play what is supposed to be on a vinyl. For pitch bending this parallel is reversed as the ribbon allows also to modify this parameter, so in this case the cuts are realised by playing quick sounds. This exemple played just with left hand.
The routines obtained here were partly inspired -- in their content and esthetic -- by turntablists like Qbert and D-styles.
