This video shows how to perform a basic motion simulation using MD Adams. Adams/View is used to create a model of a simple four bar linkage including links, joints, and an applied joint motion. Then the simulation is performed in MD Adams and the results are reviewed threough animations and charts.

  • Is there a difference between Adams and MD Adams?

  • @llamadodesombras

MD Adams is a superset of MSC Adams functionality focused on further enabling multidiscipline analysis. It includes:

    - Adams2Nastran feature (export a linearized Adams model directly to Nastran)

    - Advanced Package has the Adams/Mechatronics module (expanded GUI for Adams/Controls; very useful for large/complex controls integrations)

    - MD Database access (enables more direct sharing of flex bodies between Nastran and Adams users)

  • Your voice is fucking horrid.

  • anybody would like to help me in creating a lead screw/screw jack modling and simulation??????

  • how can i create a bent cylindrical tube???

  • With a very similar four bar mechanism, how would you: apply an angular velocity to the crank, apply an opposing torque to the rocker, and then find the resulting torque on the crank needed to run the system

  • Awesome! It is what I exactly look for
