Israel - The Best Kind of Paradox
Nicole Strong, Janice Zolf, Ellen Zhang, Serene Umair
Israel is a tiny postage-stamp sized country, which boasts more start-up companies than any other country in the world outside of the U.S.A. Its rich cuisine is a delicious blend from the surrounding Arab countries, Eastern Europe, Russia and France, mirroring the diverse, multi-cultural population.
The biblical city of Jerusalem is holy to Jews, Muslims and Christians, in stark contrast to the high rises and nightclubs on the beach in the dynamic city of Tel Aviv.
Through the juxtaposition of images, sound and video we illustrate the wondrous paradox of Israel, where the clash of religions, cultures, ideologies and landscape come together to create this extraordinary country.
