camaro problem

The original pump did not even run, the first one i bought ran but did not pump any water so i exchanged it for another one at the same store (Canadian tire) and it actually pumps water but not enough power to make it to the back of the car. I blew into the hose that brings the water to the back and water came out no problem. So should i try again at the same store and exchange the pump or should i try a scrap yard or any other places you guys have in mind. thank you.
