In our continued efforts to bring Pakistans environmental issues to the fore, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Science and Technology has produced these Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on water conservation and climate change. This is in line with the UN Secretary Generals communication priorities for this year. The first of its kind animated songs are an effort to reach out to the youth in order to engage and motivate them in efforts to conserve water and help mitigate the negative impacts of climate change in Pakistan.

  • I wish they wd have made Hadiqa dressed as a regular Pakistani woman, who strives daily to collect water for home usage ... That would have been a powerful message... well, otherwise nice effort. Please do some reserach on social trends in Pakistan before spreading such messages.

  • @KARACHICALL apparently they themed hadiqas look as "1960s" by mgirl

and yeah i dont like the outfits either....even if not like a traditional pakistani women who collects water but maybe even a regular shirt with pants like in the mens version of the video

  • @daud654 Dear friends, Hadiqa is being portrayed here as an animated character. The song is targeted for youth (15-24 years) therefore their mindsets and trends are kept in mind. Thanks for your inputs anyways.
