HyperMac is one of a few, if not the only, company currently offering external batteries for the macbook family. Using the magsafe adapter as an interface, the hypermac 222 watt battery can charge my 15in macbook pro for around 24 hours. In fact, this battery also has an open USB port allowing me to charge my iPhone, or other USB device, while my laptop is charging as well. This battery is pricey, at $499.95 for the 222 watt version, but does what it is advertised to do, very well in fact.

  • i bought the top of the model hyper juice batter 6 months ago and it just broke, stopped charging and smelled nasty

  • Is there a less expensive one but as good one on the market?

  • how hot does the hypermac get? I have heard that the charger for the hypermac gets really hot but what about the hypermac itself.

  • @burntomato1994 ya but they all use a different amount of power like you can not charge a mac book pro with a mac book charger it will use the more power than it can get and the battery will die eventually just putting that out their

  • does that work with a sony vaio or any other laptop????

  • no it doesnt

  • macbook air's adapter works on all macbooks, so that is not really an issue

  • 18500 mAh

  • i just use a 60 buck dollar that plugs into ur card, and it is 400watt and 3.8volts, which i can plug two chargers in and a usb in

  • how do you get all the stuff you get????
