Two people on here have either lost their mind or they have no idea what they are talking about. This song makes me instantly stop what I am doing, listen, and I will usually cry. It's so beautiful and yet painful. Thanks Ryan. Keep it up.

My ears are fine...and are certainly not tainted with what one "expects" to sound good.

ELH sounds like a croaking frog...always did and always will do... to me.
Only one person beats her at the croaking...that would be Iris Dement.
