@bellayness It's definitely easier making them bigger, and they sound better that way too, as that guy above so charmingly touches on.. But yes, there's quite a few tutorials on youtube which I found useful as a guide, so maybe have a look around. Two things though: 1 I use another (real) ukulele as a template to measure the fret spacings. 2 to get a curve on the head, cut a diagonal line through the head area so it tappers at the end, then glue the off-cut on underneath. Thanks for all the interest.. If I get a chance I'll do a tutorial on how to make one of these - it's not so hard. I don't really have time to make them to sell, and I'd have to charge tons to make it viable - so for now I just like making them for friends and the very, very occasional charming youtube commenter..
